Icfai Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT)

IBSAT common admission test for the PG Programs of the participating institutions, namely Icfai Business School , Icfai School of Financial Studies, Icfai School of Banking Studies, Icfai School of Marketing Studies and Icfai School of Human Resource Development. IBSAT is based on GMAT® format with multiple choice questions and tests the applicant’s abilities in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary, writing skills, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Selection process in IBSAT : 

The selection process comprises of IBSAT and interviews. Applicants are required to write the IBSAT 2010. Alternatively, GMAT® scores are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT® code number of IBS is 7061. The applicants short-listed on the basis of their performance in the IBSAT 2010 are called for the interviews. The IBSAT scores will be made available to the participating institutions namely Icfai Business School, Icfai School of Financial Studies, Icfai School of Banking Studies, Icfai School of Marketing Studies and Icfai School of Human Resource Development. Each Participating Institution determines its own cut-off scores of IBSAT 2006 and calls the students for interviews. The students short listed for interviews will be supplied with a copy of the official prospectus and application material of the respective Participating Institutions. The filled in OMR Application Form should be sent to the Admissions Officer, through speed post or courier, at the following address.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test - (GCET) 2008

State Government of Gujarat conduct GCET The Gujarat Common Entrance Test for admission in MBA and MCA course in various Institutes and colleges affiliated with state of Gujarat. IIM, Ahmedabad is exception of this. GCET does not give the admission criterion for IIM, Ahmedabad.

Eligibility Criteria for GCET

A Graduate with 10+2 system or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main three subjects.
The applicant must have minimum of 50% in total of marks ( for SC/ST 45%)

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Admission 2010 University of Delhi

FMS test is designed to examine the skill and aptitude of an applicant for the management courses taught at FMS, University of Delhi.

Eligibility for FMS 2010

For both the full-time programmes, the eligibility criteria are same.

Candidates applying for admission to the MBA (MS) programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows: 

Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences- 50% 

Sciences- 55% 

Mathematics or Statistics- 60% 

Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60%/ CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10

OR

Post Graduate Degree or IInd Degree examination after10+2+3scheme, securing at least 60%marks. 

Candidates must be at least 20 years of age as on 1st of October, 2008 

Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility will be allowed only to candidates of the following categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW)

Registration Process for FMS 2010

Information bulletin along with the application form can be purchased from the designated SBI branches from The cost of the Information bulletin also includes the Admission test fee as per the following:

MBA Programme General Candidates SC, ST, OBC (Non- Creamy Layer), PH, and CW candidates

Applying for M.B.A. only Rs. 500 Rs. 125(SC, ST, OBC (Non- Creamy Layer), PH, and CW candidates)

Applying for M.B.A. (Management of Services) only Rs. 500, Rs. 125 (SC, ST, OBC (Non- Creamy Layer), PH, and CW candidates)

Applying for Both Rs. 1000, Rs. 250(SC, ST, OBC (Non- Creamy Layer), PH, and CW candidates)

At the designated SBI branches, applicants have to fill-in a printed Bank payment counter-foil (supplied by FMS) with their Name, Name of the Branch and the required amount. The bank will return two portions of the counter-foil to the candidate along with a packet containing the Information bulletin and the application form. The Candidate is required to attach one stamped counterfoil, in original, with the duly filled application form while sending it to FMS. Application forms without the counter-foil or with the counter-foil showing incorrect amount will be rejected and the amount received will not be refunded.

Those who want to apply online would be directed to the Online Registration page. Fill in the required information correctly. Verify the data entered. After the registration information is confirmed, no data can be modified. You will be able to pay the admission fee in two ways. Choose the appropriate mode of payment (through demand draft or online payment) after you have confirmed your registration information.

Test Structure for FMS 2010

There is no prescribed syllabus or format for this multiple choice 2-hour admission test. The previous admission tests usually comprised the following basic areas:

Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) Pondicherry

CENTAC is Centralised Admission Committee made by Government of Puducherry to conduct the exams for the admission in various colleges and institutes attached with Government of Punducherry. Admission in B.Tech., B.D.S., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Pharm., B.Sc. (Nursing), B.P.T., B.Sc. (MLT) LL.B. (Five year integrated course – Semester Pattern) degree course is done by the exam of CENTAC.

The process to get the admission is to first submit the admission application form to CENTAC and the when called attend the counseling for the course at the notified time by CENTAC.

Important Dates of CENTAC :

receipt of admission applications at CENTAC office is 23.06.2008 up to 5.00 p.m.

in case of delay in the declaration of the qualifying examinations results i.e. after 23.06.2008 by any HSC Board, the candidates from that Board should not wait for the result, but submit the admission applications at CENTAC office on or before last date.

Last date for submission of supplementary examination + 2 mark sheet to the CENTAC office is 06.08.2008, 5:00 PM

The Merit Lists (separate for B.Tech., B.Pharm., and all other Biology-based Degree Courses) will be displayed on the notice board of the Office of CENTAC, located at Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) campus. Selection of Candidates for admission to all the Degree courses will be based on the Merit lists prepared by CENTAC, based on the marks arrived at by adopting the ‘method of normalization’. Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the ‘normalised marks’ (rounded-off to three decimal places) arrived at, to a base of 200.

Counselling for all the above degree courses will be conducted at the Office of the CENTAC, Chemical Engineering Block, Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Pillaichavady,

Himachal Pradesh – Combined Management Admission test - (HP-CMAT) 2010

HP CMAT is entrance test conducted by IMS Institute of Management Studies Himachal Pradesh. This a common entrance test for admission in Management programs offered by various business institutes and universites affiliated with University of Himachal Pradesh.

Age limit for HP CMAT

Age limit for all PG Courses is 26 years on the 1st day of July of the year of course. 

NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National candidates/students, and serving/retired defence personnel are the exception for CMAT max age bar. For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, the upper age limit will be raised by three years.

Eligibility for HP CMAT

Bachelor's degree of a university with at least 50 % ( 45% for SC/ST candidates). Student appearing for final year exam can also apply.

How to Apply for HPCMAT 2010

The application form along with prospectus can be obtained either from the institute’s cash counter by depositing Rs.400/- (Subsidized) & Rs.500/- (Subsidized & non-Subsidized) (Rs. 250/- & 350/- for SC/ST candidates) or by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.450/- (Subsidized) & Rs.550/- (Subsidized & non-Subsidized) (Rs.300/- & Rs.400/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of “Director, IMS HP University”, payable at Shimla.
